Concept Palm Desert was born out of a love for the planet and the drive to use sustainable practices to make things beautiful.
We are located in the Coachella Valley, California, and we feel the dramatic effects of climate change here, and want to promote sustainable practices for all of our design products.
This means sourcing our products from local and like-minded companies, salvaging as many parts of our projects as possible to refurbish and re-use, and partnering with our neighboring businesses to keep it local.
Lael Bailey
Owner/Operator
Lael is the creative force behind our design team. Originally from Illinois, she brings a burst of color to all her projects, mirroring her love for vibrant design. Lael hails from a large, tight-knit family, which fuels her passion for entertaining. She shares her home with her beloved dogs. Growing up in a family deeply committed to the conservation of native habitats, Lael has inherited a strong dedication to environmental sustainability. She firmly believes in the importance of continuous personal and professional growth.

Shoshana Stadtler
Project Manager
Shoshana, a native of San Francisco, California, is our meticulous and highly organized project manager.
She has an innate ability to balance comfort and glamour in designs, reflecting her love for cozy yet elegant spaces. She’s a fervent advocate for social equity and women’s issues. Her green thumb makes her a houseplant guru, adding a touch of nature to her life and our projects.

Mike Harris
Construction Designer
Mike is our jack-of-all-trades construction
designer. He’s a true handyman extraordinaire
with a passion for casual minimalism in design. When he’s not at work, he can be found scaling rock walls, spiking volleyballs, or watching musicals. His innovative mindset makes him a master of his craft, and he’s equally passionate about giving back to his community, always eager to be of service.
